Cali Tile LLC (“Cali Tile,” “we,” “us,” “our”) operates calitile.co. Cali Tile is a licensed remodeling contractor serving Visalia and the Central Valley.

This policy explains what information this website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to calitile.co only. It does not cover information you give us by phone, in person, or on a job site.

Information You Give Us

We collect information you choose to send through this website.

Quote requests and contact forms. When you request a quote or contact us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the city or location of your project, and the project details you describe. We use this to respond to you, schedule an estimate, and communicate about the work.

Newsletter signup. If you join our email list, we collect your email address and, if you provide it, your name.

Direct contact. If you email or call us using the details published on this site, we keep that correspondence so we can follow up.

Please do not send payment card numbers, bank account details, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive personal information through this website. We do not ask for it and the forms on this site are not built to receive it.

Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, calitile.co collects some technical information whenever you visit.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the site. It records pages viewed, approximate location at the city level, device and browser type, the source that referred you, and general interaction patterns. Google Analytics uses your IP address to estimate your general location and does not store it. We use this data in aggregate. We do not use it to identify individual visitors.

Server logs. Our hosting provider, Hostinger, automatically records standard log data including IP address, browser type, and the date, time, and pages requested. These logs support security, troubleshooting, and site performance.

Caching. We use LiteSpeed Cache to make pages load faster. It may set technical cookies that control how pages are delivered to your browser. These do not identify you.

Fonts. Some pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. When that happens, your browser makes a request to Google’s servers, which includes your IP address.

Search Console. We use Google Search Console to monitor how the site performs in search results. It reports aggregated search data to us. It does not collect information about individual visitors.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. This site uses three kinds:

Necessary cookies. Set by WordPress and our caching plugin so the site functions and loads correctly.

Analytics cookies. Set by Google Analytics to measure site usage.

Third party cookies from embedded content. Set when you interact with a video or social post embedded on one of our pages. See the embedded content section below.

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross site tracking on this website.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may affect how the site works. To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Emails Communications

We do not run a newsletter and we do not use an email marketing platform. The only emails we send are direct replies to people who contact us about a project.

If you submit a quote request, we use your email address and phone number to respond to your inquiry and to follow up about that project. We do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your contact information.

Embedded Content From Other Websites

Our pages include embedded content such as project videos and social posts. Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited that other website directly. Those platforms may collect data about you, set their own cookies, and monitor your interaction with the embed, particularly if you are signed in to an account with them.

We do not control that collection and we do not receive the data. Review the privacy policies of the platforms whose content is embedded here, including Google and YouTube, Instagram and Facebook, and TikTok.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Respond to quote requests, questions, and messages
  • Schedule and coordinate estimates and project work
  • Send newsletters and updates, if you asked for them
  • Operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website
  • Understand how the site is used so we can improve it
  • Meet our legal, tax, and record keeping obligations
  • Enforce our Terms of Use and protect against fraud or misuse

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising. We do not trade or rent it to anyone.

We do share information in these limited situations:

Service providers. Companies that run parts of this website and our communications on our behalf, specifically Hostinger for hosting, business email, and newsletter delivery, and Google for analytics, search reporting, and fonts. These providers may only use the information to perform their service for us.

When the law requires it. In response to a valid legal request, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety, rights, or property of our customers, our team, or the public.

Project Photos and Job Site Media

Photographing our work is part of how we show what we do. Finished and in progress projects may appear on this website, on our social channels, and in our marketing materials.

Our practice is simple: the photos are about the work. We do not publish customer names, street addresses, or contact information alongside project photos, and we do not photograph people inside a home without asking first.

If your project appears on this site or our channels and you would like it taken down, email info@calibuilt.co and we will remove it. We cannot control copies that other people have already saved or reshared elsewhere.

How Long We Keep Your Information

Quote requests and project correspondence. Kept as long as needed to serve you and to satisfy business, tax, warranty, and legal record keeping requirements, which for a California contractor typically means several years after a project closes.

Newsletter subscriptions. Kept until you unsubscribe. After that we keep a minimal record of your unsubscribe so we do not accidentally email you again.

Analytics data. Google deletes the detailed, visitor-level records after the retention period set on our Google Analytics property, currently 14 months. Aggregated totals, such as how many people viewed a page in a given month, are kept by Google indefinitely and cannot be traced back to an individual visitor.

Server logs. Retained by our hosting provider on their standard schedule.

Where Your Information Is Processed

We operate in California, but some of the services we rely on are provided by companies based outside the United States. Hostinger, which provides our hosting, business email, and newsletter service, is a European company and may store and process information in the European Union, the United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions where it or its providers operate. By using this site or signing up for our newsletter, you understand that your information may be processed outside your country of residence.

How We Protect Your Information

This site runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and access to form submissions and subscriber lists is limited to people at Cali Tile who need it to do their jobs. Our hosting and email providers maintain their own security programs.

No website or method of transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, which is another reason not to send sensitive financial or identity information through this website.

Your Privacy Choices

You can:

  • Unsubscribe from emails using the link at the bottom of any newsletter
  • Ask what we have about you, and request a copy
  • Ask us to correct information that is wrong or out of date
  • Ask us to delete your information, subject to records we are required to keep
  • Opt out of analytics using the browser add-on linked above or your browser’s cookie controls

California Residents

Whether or not the California Consumer Privacy Act formally applies to a business of our size, we honor these requests from California residents:

  • The right to know what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we shared it with
  • The right to delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions
  • The right to correct inaccurate personal information
  • The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, and there is nothing for an opt-out preference signal to act on
  • The right to non-discrimination. We will never give you worse service, worse pricing, or slower response because you exercised a privacy right

We also do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

Children’s Privacy

This website is intended for homeowners, property owners, and builders. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that we have, we will delete it. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us at info@calibuilt.co.

Do Not Track

There is still no agreed industry standard for how websites should respond to Do Not Track browser signals, so this site does not currently respond to them. Worth noting in context: we do not track visitors across other websites, and we do not run advertising or retargeting technology here.

Links to Other Websites

This site links to other websites, including our social profiles and manufacturer or supplier pages. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of sites we do not operate. Once you follow a link, this policy no longer applies.

Changes to This Policy

We will update this policy when the website or the tools behind it change. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
