There’s a moment in every project I never get tired of.

It’s not the demo. It’s not the install. It’s the day I hand the house back.

This week, we walked a family through their finished home for the first time. I filmed it, because no ad I could ever buy says what their faces said in that kitchen.

What We Built

This wasn’t a touch-up. This was a full home remodel, top to bottom — the kind of project we’ve been doing across Visalia and the Central Valley for 14 years.

Here’s what went into it:

New flooring throughout. Wood-look luxury vinyl plank, wall to wall. Durable, waterproof, and it ties every room together. As a licensed flooring contractor (C-15), flooring isn’t an add-on for us. It’s one of our trades.

A kitchen built to be lived in. White shaker cabinets. A quartz island with seating for the whole family. Marble mosaic backsplash. A professional six-burner range under a custom stainless hood. Matte black fixtures. This is the heart of the house now — and it shows.

Two custom tile showers. This is where we live. Large-format marble-look tile. Built-in niches. Hex mosaic shower pans. Frameless black glass. When the homeowner ran her hand across that tile, that was the review. Tile setting is the craft this company was built on (C-54 licensed), and it’s still the work we’re proudest of.

A brand-new staircase. Oak treads, modern black metal railing, skylight overhead. It went from an afterthought to the centerpiece of the main floor.

Updated bathrooms, bedrooms, and lighting throughout. Wainscoting in the powder bath. Recessed lighting. Every detail finished, every line clean.

One Crew. One Standard. Start to Finish.

Here’s what makes a project like this work: you’re not coordinating five different companies.

We’re a licensed general contractor (General B) with our own tile and flooring trades in-house. Kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling, flooring, full home renovations — one crew, one standard, one person who answers the phone. Me.

That’s how it’s been for 14 years in the Central Valley. We don’t just set tile. We build homes people are proud to walk into.

The Best Part Isn’t the House

At the end of the walkthrough, the homeowners turned to the camera and said it themselves: you can trust this crew with your home.

That’s the whole business right there. Word of mouth built Cali Tile, one family at a time — Visalia, Fresno, and everywhere in between.

La Remodelación Completa de una Casa en ViSALiA

Hay un momento en cada proyecto del que nunca me canso.

No es la demolición. No es la instalación. Es el día que entrego la casa.

Esta semana, acompañamos a una familia a recorrer su casa terminada por primera vez. Lo grabé, porque ningún anuncio puede decir lo que dijeron sus caras en esa cocina.

Lo Que Construimos

Esto no fue un retoque. Fue una remodelación completa, de arriba a abajo — el tipo de proyecto que llevamos haciendo en Visalia y el Valle Central desde hace 14 años.

Esto fue lo que hicimos:

Pisos nuevos en toda la casa. Vinilo de lujo con apariencia de madera, de pared a pared. Duradero, resistente al agua, y une todos los espacios. Como contratista de pisos con licencia (C-15), los pisos no son un extra para nosotros. Son uno de nuestros oficios.

Una cocina hecha para vivirse. Gabinetes blancos estilo shaker. Una isla de cuarzo con espacio para toda la familia. Backsplash de mosaico de mármol. Una estufa profesional de seis quemadores bajo una campana de acero inoxidable. Esta es ahora el corazón de la casa — y se nota.

Dos regaderas de azulejo a la medida. Aquí es donde brillamos. Azulejo de formato grande con apariencia de mármol. Nichos integrados. Pisos de mosaico hexagonal. Cristal negro sin marco. Cuando la dueña pasó la mano por ese azulejo, esa fue la reseña. El azulejo es el oficio con el que nació esta empresa (licencia C-54), y sigue siendo el trabajo que más orgullo nos da.

Una escalera completamente nueva. Escalones de roble, barandal moderno de metal negro, tragaluz arriba. Pasó de ser un rincón olvidado a ser la pieza central de la planta baja.

Baños, recámaras e iluminación renovados. Lambrín en el medio baño. Iluminación empotrada. Cada detalle terminado, cada línea limpia.

Un Solo Equipo. Un Solo Estándar. De Principio a Fin.

Esto es lo que hace que un proyecto así funcione: no tienes que coordinar cinco empresas diferentes.

Somos contratista general con licencia (General B) con nuestros propios oficios de azulejo y pisos. Remodelación de cocinas, remodelación de baños, pisos, renovaciones completas — un solo equipo, un solo estándar, una sola persona que contesta el teléfono. Yo.

Así ha sido durante 14 años en el Valle Central. No solo ponemos azulejo. Construimos casas que dan orgullo.
